The Call
Scripture is clear: "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress" (James 1:27). For us in Pakistan, this is not a program โ it is an obedience.
Who We Serve
Our widows program supports Pakistani Christian women who have lost their husbands through death, illness, or persecution โ especially those with young children, those in their later years with no family income, and those whose late husbands served our ministry as pastors, evangelists, or church planters.
What We Provide
- Monthly financial support sufficient to cover basic household needs
- Food rations through our Family Food Relief program
- School fees for children (often covered by Maranatha Christian School tuition-free)
- Medical assistance for chronic or emergency care
- Local church connection for fellowship, prayer, and ongoing discipleship
- Dignity โ above all, the message that they are not forgotten
"The widow's mite" was the offering Jesus praised most. Our widows have given us far more than we have ever given them. — Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir
How You Can Help
A monthly sponsorship of US $50 covers the core needs of one Pakistani Christian widow for a full month. Some partners sponsor a specific widow by name; others give to the general fund. Both are precious and both are used.
