About ยท Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir

From Five Urdu Bibles to a Gospel movement across Pakistan.

The story of Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir and Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan โ€” a journey that began with a painful illness, a promise to God, a miraculous healing, and Five Urdu Bibles in February 2009.

A Village in Sialkot

Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir was born in a small Christian village in Sialkot District, Punjab, Pakistan, the child of a humble Christian family of nine children. His father served his community faithfully until his passing in 2014, and the quiet Christian witness of that household formed Naeem's earliest memories of Jesus. From his earliest days, the call to live for Christ and to serve Pakistan's forgotten was written into his heart.

Years in America โ€” Preparing for the Call

From 2011 to 2015, Naeem and his family lived in the United States, where he pursued theological and ministerial studies. Though the doors to stay abroad were open, the Lord made it unmistakably clear that his calling lay in Pakistan. In October 2015, he returned to Lahore with his wife Mehwish Naeem and their young daughter Caroline to give the rest of his life to full-time Gospel ministry in his home country. In 2022, the Lord blessed the family with a second daughter, Katriel.

August 2008 โ€” It Started With a Pair of Shoes

In August 2008, Naeem wore a pair of bad leather shoes that triggered a severe reaction on both his feet. What began as itching quickly became something far worse โ€” within days, both feet were swollen and covered in small pimples. Then it started getting worse. And worse. And worse again. Every single day.

Pain. Frustration. Stress. Sleepless nights. He could no longer wear shoes. Then he could not even wear sandals. Through the entire winter of 2008, he wore open sandals in the cold โ€” and on Christmas Day, he walked into church barefoot because he simply could not put anything on his feet.

The next two months โ€” January and February 2009 โ€” were the worst of all. The condition was no longer just on his feet; it had begun spreading up to his legs. The doctors warned him directly: if this continues, you could lose your feet.

But in the middle of that darkest season, one verse kept returning to his heart โ€” "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news" (Romans 10:15). He could not yet see how, but he sensed that the Lord was not finished with his feet.

18 February 2009 โ€” Resignation, Prayer, and a Promise

On 18 February 2009, Naeem resigned from his job. There would be no more divided heart. He came home, shut the door, and laid his broken feet before the Lord. He cried out. He wept. And he made a promise that has shaped every day of his life since:

"Lord, if You will heal my feet, I will serve You the rest of my life."

The Miracle โ€” Within a Week

Within a single week of that prayer, Naeem saw it with his own eyes โ€” a remarkable, visible change in both his feet. Strength returning. Swelling going down. Pain lifting. For the first time in months, he was able to slip on his sandals and walk โ€” and the first place he walked was to a prayer meeting.

At that prayer meeting he stood up and shared his testimony. He told the room what the Lord had done, and he spoke openly of the vision God had placed in his heart and the promise he had made โ€” to tell the world about the power of the Living God. That evening, pastors gathered around him. A calling that had begun in silence behind a closed door now had witnesses.

"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news." — Romans 10:15

Five Urdu Bibles โ€” The First Act of the Ministry

At the very beginning, Naeem knew some people in his circle who did not own a Bible. So with the little he had, he bought Five Urdu Bibles and placed them, one by one, into the hands of those five people:

  • Three men โ€” all three are today pastors serving JESUS CHRIST faithfully
  • Two ladies โ€” both remain women of God, still faithful to The Lord today

Five Bibles. Five souls. Five different paths โ€” and to this day, sixteen years later, all five of them are still walking faithfully with JESUS CHRIST. That simple act of placing God's Word into five pairs of hands was the founding moment of Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan. The Lord Himself gave Naeem the name "Good Samaritan Ministries" through a vision, anchoring the mission in the parable of the man on the road who stopped, knelt, and carried the wounded home.

The following year, in 2010, the work was formally registered as a nonprofit Christian organization in Pakistan โ€” giving legal form to what the Lord had already birthed by faith.

"I saw what one Bible could do for one person. Now, I dream of what one million Bibles can do for one nation." — Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir

Sixteen Years of Harvest

What the Lord began with five Bibles He has multiplied beyond what Naeem could have asked or imagined. By 2026, Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan has:

  • Distributed 150,000+ free Urdu Bibles โ€” including more than 50,000 illustrated children's Bibles โ€” toward a goal of one million Bibles by 2033
  • Documented 50,000+ lives transformed through Gospel crusades, church plants, and personal witness
  • Conducted 50+ Gospel Crusades across Pakistan (beginning in 2012 and continuing to this day)
  • Planted hundreds of churches in rural villages and persecuted regions
  • Trained 1,000+ pastors and Christian leaders for ministry across Pakistan
  • Provided 100+ motorbikes to rural pastors to help them reach their scattered flocks

Revelation Bible College & Seminary โ€” Founded 2018

In 2018, Dr. Nasir founded Revelation Bible College & Seminary in Lahore with a simple, counter-cultural conviction: Pakistani pastors should never have to pay to learn the Bible. The college offers ten degree programs โ€” from Certificate to Doctorate โ€” in Urdu and English, 100% tuition-free. Over 1,000 graduates have gone out as pastors, evangelists, and church planters across Pakistan and beyond. Naeem serves as its President.

Maranatha Christian High School โ€” Launched March 2021

In March 2021, Naeem founded Maranatha Christian High School to give underprivileged Pakistani Christian children an education they could otherwise never afford. Today, more than 500 students from Nursery through Grade 10 learn, grow, and meet Jesus daily in its classrooms โ€” with full tuition-free scholarships for every child whose family cannot pay.

A Pastor, a President, an Author

Alongside leading Good Samaritan Ministries, Dr. Nasir serves as the Founding Pastor of Good Samaritan Church, Lahore, the home congregation of the ministry. He is also President of Revelation Bible College, President of Maranatha Christian High School, and Director of the Free Urdu Bibles Distribution Mission.

He has authored three books to make The Gospel accessible to seekers and new believers:

  • Hope For Every Heart: A Simple Guide to God's Love and Salvation
  • Paradise: Unlocking the Mystery of Life After This One
  • The Purpose of Life: Discovering Your True Identity
"The Bible is not just a book. It is the living Word of God โ€” every person deserves to read it in their own language." — Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir

Our Vision

A Pakistan where The Gospel of JESUS CHRIST is preached in every village, where every Pakistani home holds a Bible they can read, and where every new believer steps immediately into a healthy local church. The harvest is the Lord's โ€” we simply labor in His field.

Our Mission

We exist to proclaim the life-transforming power of JESUS CHRIST to every corner of Pakistan through Gospel Crusades, free Urdu Bible distribution, church planting, street evangelism, leadership training, and relief ministry among the widows, the persecuted, brick-kiln families, and the hungry.

Our Motto

"Every home a church. Every church a lighthouse." — Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir

Where We're Headed

By 2033 we aim to place one million Urdu Bibles in Pakistani homes, plant 1,000 more churches, see 2,000 more leaders graduate tuition-free from Revelation Bible College, and deepen our relief ministries to hundreds more families โ€” God willing, and in partnership with believers across the world who share our burden for the unreached of Pakistan.
